The New Beginning of Arkonox Dorvan

Chapter 3

"At last, the Sunspear Great hall" Dagger spoke with glee. It was beautiful with towering statues protecting us from the sunlight. An immense gate stood like an impressive soldier that could withstand any blow it could take.
"Come in! Come in! Spearmarshal Kormir welcomes you" interrupted a strong build warrior wielding a spear and a shield. It had an angelic presence, which enlightened my feelings to being calm. Dagger and I walked in slowly, taking time to observe the ancient statues of great heroes such as Turai Ossa.
"I welcome you Dagger of Sithis and Arkonox Dorvan to the Sunspear great hall," Kormir spoke with a brave yet calm voice. " I heard Dorvan has been trained by Master?"
"…Yes…" I said hesitantly. " He died while I was in the Battle of Jarin…"
"Oh that's a pity, he was a noble ranger yet a good friend of mine" Kormir said sadly. "Anyway, what have you come to seek?"
I stood up firmly.
"I ask you…what is the nightfall?"
Kormir looked up with curiously. An overwhelming presence of silence filled the hall.
"Nightfall…is the colossal fall of the heaven and earth. Including the great underworld caused by the forbidden god of secrets…Abaddon" she spoke in a grave voice. The name of Abaddon shivered down my body, as the sound of his name was full of evil and cries of the murdered victims, fear was seen by all the faces of the people.
"Well…what are we gonna do about it?" I whispered.
"That…I do not know," she replied with fear. "But I want you to meet someone who can come up with something… Meet Thorn Bain" A great ranger stood out with a devastating sense of confidence and strength. He slowly walked towards me, but silent like the moon. "Thorn Bain has just entered Elona from Tyria, I met him in Kamadan seeking for you Dorvan, He is a pirate but is a honorable one who supports us with the corsair wars we are currently on." explained Kormir calmly.
"So…your Dorvan right?" Thorn spoke quietly as he glared at me with confusion.
"Ummm yes I am" I replied.
"Did you know Dagger worked in my organization? We are the almighty DAD. The saviors of Elona, Canthan and Tyria and we would like you to join us…" He said with great confidence.
I stood in thought for a while. Could this be a good idea to help me fulfill Master's destiny and what advantages could this have? I looked Thorn Bain up and down inspecting him. His eyes were true as they twinkled desperately at me. I smiled at Thorn,
"I think I can accept your offer," I replied calmly.
I shook his hand with respect as he grinned at me happily.
"I think we are gonna be good friends," he spoke lightly with a bright smile in his face. "But first…you have to meet Draco Zandros one of our leaders, but don't worry he doesn't bite!"
Dagger came from the shadows silently with a worried face.
"They're here…Abaddon's followers, the margonites…" He whispered horribly.
Suddenly Kormir stood vigorously from her golden chair, a worried face took everyone's thoughts as the sound of faint footsteps was heard from out of the great hall.
"Evacuate the women and children! Thorn and Dagger, take Arkonox out from the secret passage…me and the Sunspears will handle the margonites, go hurry! She shouted quickly while the sound of a battering door crowded the area. Sounds of screams and crying were the only thing that I could hear. I was both scared and terrified but Balthazar gave me courage on the way though. As the seal was closed from the secret passage, a blur of conflict was to be seen…it was war.
