Don't let Guild Wars Interfere with Life
To my D-family. (Pssst, that means you Droknar guildie).
A word to the wise wind of the south south east north side. You've all read those lists telling you the symptoms of playing too much GW. When you need a break etc etc. Bah too much gaming? Nevahhh!
But maybe it's not such a good idea to bring GW into your life eh? I mean seriously... think about it a sec. Learn from me... hmmm oooo, yea... scary thought. Ok, just listen to me then.
For example. Think it's fun to pretend you are a necromancer and make the kids you are baby sitting act like minions while your buddy who's baby sitting with you pretend to be a baddie hacking them down with a hockey stick that could be a Fiery Dragon sword? Hell yea!!!! Uh well, that is, until their mom comes back home, finds the house kinda messy and thinking what the hell are you doing to my kids... mmmmm good? Not so much. Doesn't help when you say, "they're awesome minions" neither. You just get funny looks, never trusted with the kids again, and your own mom who's her friend yells at you for half an hour.
Think it's fun when you go out with your buddies to the dance club and pretend to dance like a warrior does in the game to see if they recognize the dance? Think again. You end up hitting a rather big guy, making him spill his drink on his gf. If you're lucky tho, some idiot is dancing like a retard next to him and you can kinda point and slink away. Hey I'm not proud of what I do, but I still got all my teeth.
Think it's funny to pour meatballs off the overlook and yell "Meteor Shower!"? Try explaining to your boss who walks by underneath at the wrong time "What you are doing! Get down here now!"... oh boy. Headache.
Think it's fun to watch your buddy run around the house with an empty wrapper stick yelling "I will sever your artery!" in nothing but a bedsheet? Meh it's funnier when you open the door for the delivery man to come in and watch too. Then have him say "Uh, maybe I'll drop this off later". Ah hahahaha.
Anyway, wise up and stop gaming too seriously. Have some fun in life.
