A word from the Editor
Its that time of the month again, no not Thorn Baiting time, it's Press time or Hammer time, whichever you prefer (yes these are the ramblings of an idiot) We have another cracking edition this month for DAD eyes only, well actually anyone who finds their way onto the site. This month saw the intro to our brief guides section. As well as this we also have more interviews and reports.
This month also got very crazy for the team near the end of the month, with the SS/LB Special Event. Congratulations to all, and If we didn't get your picture Congratulations, you all deserve a High five!
So without further ado lets crack on and let the incredible press team entertain you… Thorn
SS/LB Special Event
Two weekends ago the Guild wars world saw the remote location of the Remains of Sahlahja brimming with eager title earners to reach their maximum Sunspear and Lightbringer titles. For those of you not well introduced with these tedious titles you may also recognize them in their abbreviated state “SS/LB”. These two Elonian titles have had high titled players collecting bounty as wurms for weeks or even months to earn the spoils of a max title and plenty of gold.
On the 18th January 08 ArenaNet started the double Sunspear and Lightbringer points weekend across Elona, thus making earning these
titles half the work compared to how long they would usually take. The Remains of Sahlahja is the hot spot for gaining these points as a
single run can be done in hard mode, in a group of six in fewer than twenty minutes. The spoils of gold and hard mode drops are defiantly
an incentive to get down to Sahlahja but with double Sunspear and Lightbringer points it was no surprise districts were buzzing with
teams eager to explore.
Anyone wanting to go on an SS/LB farm and reap the benefits of easy points and plenty of loot must be warned that groups can be found in the Remains of Sahlahja but two quests must be active to get the most out of your runs which are: "A show of force" and "Requiem for a Brain". Only one person in the group is required to have these and players can be replaced with heroes.
Those that took advantage of this infrequent event even found themselves with a new title to boast not just to their guildies but to all Guild Wars players in towns such as Kamadan. People that went along to the event to farm for Sunspear and Lightbringer points such as: Arkonox Dorvan; Elia Farshot; Bleeding and Crying and Ong Back Arrow earned maxed out tiles of the Sunspear or Lightbringer rank and in some cases maxed both titles. With ArenaNet already launching two SS/LB events we should be sure there will be a third so watch out title earners of DAD.

I've been playing Gw for 19 months according to /age
Whats your favourite guild wars campaign and why?
My favourite campaigns for fast lvling is factions... but for story and fun, my fave is Prophecies... I hate NF... so bad.
Are you gonna buy GW2?
For sure. As soon as it comes out.
When did you join DAD?
I think it was last summer... but I'm not too sure because I got re-invited as 'Letty Starshot' to save confusion.
When you first came to DAD, what were your first impressions?
I was surprised by the amount of people that said 'welcome' to me, I thought it was brilliant. Felt welcome from day one.
How did you feel when you became officer for DAD2?
Surprised. I wasn't expecting it, it was quite nice to be given that chance.
Do you have a rolemodel in GW?
Mystery is a pretty good rolemodel. She keeps the guild up and running really well. She helped me loads, she helps others and yeah...
just all round nice girl.
Who is your favourite press team member?
Ahhhh...Dorvan I'll let you have this one, just because I'm nice like that.
Do you have anyone to thank in DAD?
Thorn for inviting me in the first place, Dorvan and Titan for keeping me company =], Mystery and Fuery for the help they're
given me getting through campaigns, oh and ikra too...for the same reason.

20 months and 1440 hrs.
Which is your favourite campaign about GW?
Factions cause it was my first one so I know where everything is.
What do you think of GW2?
Sounds like its gonna be great but I can't be too sure.
How did you join DAD?
I think it was Dark Allies who was the first to add me, just started new char and he added me.
Do you have anyone in DAD to thank?
Uh Uncle, No sword, Jaxx, Mysty, donut a lot of the people I knew left though...Oh and jule and so many others.
Who is your greatest rolemodel in GW and why?
Hmmm... tough one. I&acuye;d say Uncle and Sword because their titles got me interested in earning mine.
Who do you think will win Uncle and No Swords title race?
Uncle because he plays more than Sword due to some reasons I'm not clear about.
Have you been to another guild other than DAD, if so which one?
I was in one with my friends from school, Don't remember the name and one I like called the crystal vanguard but none like DAD.
Which aspect do you like about DAD?
I like that the leaders sorta let members decide on stuff other than them making a demands, shows respect to all members.
Who is your favourite press team member?
MYSTY! Well I like Mysty's shiverpeak thingy. she did it and turned out really good!
Last but not least...What do you want to see next on the newspaper articles?
Nothing, I think its great the way it is.

How long have you played GW?
I started Christmas day 2006 and have only missed being on a few days since then.
How did you get into GW?
My husband brought me the games for Christmas.
How did you join DAD?
I knew Major for a while before, he asked me to join. I was in a guild of 1 at the time lol.
Do you have anyone in DAD to thank?
I would like to thank Major for convicing me to join, and I want to thank all my new friends here for making it a pleasant

Who is your greatest rolemodel in GW?
I don't think I really have one...
Do you enjoy teasing Draco?
Its one of the fun things to do lol.
Who is your favourite DAD leader?
I would have to say Jule with Mysty a close second. I don't know Pol very well yet.
How is DAD different to the other guilds you've been to?
The people are so friendly compared to the other guilds I was in, and they are way more helpful. And of course just as nutty as I am.
What kind of stuff do you get up to with Bella?
We talk a lot, do quests and missions, bug anyone we feel like it, and just generally having a good time.

Why that would have to be my good friend Dorvan! (Careful Dorvan, she bites - Draco)

What would you like to see from DAD in GW2?
